My journey in spirituality started with Osho Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh since my middle school. And since then I have dedicated myself into the deep spiritual traditions of India as well as the world. This further led to quest for Classical Hatha Yoga, and I was fortunate to learn Classical (Isha) Hatha Yoga under guidance of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva. Working on self is a very long journey. Traditionally we say that a minimum of 12 years are needed to make the base for oneself to explore higher dimensions of life. This I can vouch from my own experience. Because of such background I did not pick up any aromatherapy school to learn aromatherapy. I wanted someone (teacher) who understand the spiritual aspect of East, also well versed in modern aromatherapy.      

When I was doing my PhD abroad in year 2016, at that time I came to know about famous schools of aromatherapy in Europe, USA, Japan, Korea South and Australia. All had their own styles, offered different modules & in depth learning. Myself being from The Land of Ayurveda (Bhārata/India) and well rooted in Spirituality and Yoga, I decided to wait till I know and meet the real expert of Ayurveda Aromatherapy with an understanding of Eastern philosophy, Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Yoga, Ayurveda and Herbal Skin cosmetology. Also being an expert in Korean language it was easy for me to get access to such people, and get connected to them at energy level. I learnt Energy Aromatherapy from Korean Aromatherapy Master Mr. Park who belongs to the school of Tao and Buddha both, also he is one of the main members of Korean Federation of Professional Aromatherapists, and Oriental Herb and Medicine Association.

AromaTechnology I learnt from FFDC, U.P., India and this way my knowledge and expertise broadened over a couple of years.

In addition to my studies and practices, I am also involved with farmers all over India for distillation of essential oils and extract seed oils. I am one of the co-founders of Nisarga Farms Organic . My core focus remains on potency of oil, so me and our team do oil distillation work in small batches in Kashmir, Himalaya region of India. Moreover, I am connected to various authentic distillers worldwide esp. from Europe, USA, Australia who distill oils in small batches with superior quality. Apart from that, I am connected to International aromatherapists, skin care formulators, herbalist worldwide who have years of experience in this field and always share their valuable insights.

I also do remote quality control of few essential oil brands in India as well as outside India. I take aromatherapy workshops for students, government institutes, homemakers, oil enthusiast, and soap makers, energy/Reiki healers in India and abroad both. In addition, I develop new blends, recipes, write articles on oils so that maximum people can get benefitted. Also me and our team educate new distillers in India under Nisarga Farms Organic, and invest in farm and support farmers and their families. One of my passion is to explore new aromatic crops in India esp. in Kashmir region so that we can get the best botanical treasures from the Great Himalaya.

My primary mission for Mysore School of Aromatherapy is to help aromatherapy enthusiasts, students and professionals like soap makers, massage therapist, yoga practitioners, and natural perfumers esp. in India also all over the world and bring Aromatherapy and Ayurveda more closely. Also to give valuable and authentic information about essential oil/carrier oil/hydrosol profiles to all on my blog.
